WCW with Sapphic Romances by T.B. Markinson, Miranda MacLeod, and Harper Bliss

Say Cheese by T.B. Markinson and Miranda MacLeod

A spicy age gap romance where one night of passion could lead to a lifetime of love.

In a small town teetering on the brink of collapse, will one woman’s arrival seal a factory’s fate or open the floodgate for love and redemption? Elle Robinson’s world is literally swept away when a raging flood sends her car careening toward certain doom, only to be rescued by Angela Lane – a spirited, self-reliant, and unexpected savior who pulls Elle back from the edge of calamity. In the aftermath of their brush with mortality, passions ignite between the two women, mirroring the uncontrollable rise of the floodwaters.

However, fate has a wicked sense of humor. As the storm of their one-night stand recedes, a startling revelation emerges. Angie learns that Elle is the ambitious young business consultant whose arrival could signal the demise of Angie’s cherished family cheesemaking business.

Will this city girl bring more destruction than the flood? Or could she evolve into the improbable business partner Angie has been waiting for? Set against the picturesque backdrop of Vermont, award winning authors TB Markinson and Miranda MacLeod bring you a love story that defies convention, challenges expectations, and may just save an entire town.4

My thoughts

Talk about disasters and then really hot rescues! I have gone through flooding rainstorms, but never had a hero like Angie. Yummy.

Markinson and MacLeod give us a strong age gap small town romance. I’m not sure if this falls into the “meet cute” category, but it is definitely one for the books. The authors have everything in this story: food, family, chemistry, and a cute dog. Plus they added the rise above feel good vibe to the tale.

Say Cheese makes me want to eat cheese and like Elle, I am not a fan. I love the romance, the town, and Angie and Elle.

I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love With You by Harper Bliss

They swiped right for fun, but instead found a love they never expected.

Tired of disappointing dates with men, Dakota is convinced true love has passed her by. But when her lesbian friends convince her to include women in her dating app options, she instantly hits it off with NYPD detective Jack.

Although Jack makes it clear relationships aren’t her thing, Dakota’s warmth and charm prove irresistible. Soon, what was meant to be just a one-night stand turns into an intoxicating affair neither saw coming.

When deeper feelings emerge, Jack’s emotional walls go up. Can she and Dakota turn their undeniable connection into something more, or will their different backgrounds and painful past experiences get in the way?

I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love With You is a tender yet steamy story about risking your heart again to find your unexpected soulmate.4

My thoughts

Harper Bliss has done it again and made me contemplate doing something I know I hated doing (chuckle).

Bliss makes online dating hot which for anyone who has actually tried to date, you know the probabilities. Maybe what makes it hot is that it isn’t supposed to last, but of course it wouldn’t be a romance without a happy ending – or at least one that I want to read.

The author gives us plenty of steam. I love the family dynamic. Every character is essential to making Jack and Dakota work. The issues of divorce, careers in law enforcement, raising kids, and coming out later in life and the repercussions for everyone involved is brilliantly handled by Bliss.

I just love I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love With You. Now about that online dating thing…do I get someone as hot as Jack or Dakota? (smile)
